To open an account the banks often require that you are (or can show you intend to be) a resident or property owner, and it takes about 20-30 minutes. You will need your passport. A minimum deposit of around 100 Euros is normally required. You will receive your passbook about a week later. There are no restrictions on remitting funds to and from Andorra in any currency but money laundering regulations are observed by the Andorran banks.
